Residential Staircases typically have building codes requiring stairs to be 36" wide. If your stairs are wider or narrower, measure the width of your stairs and multiply this length by how many stairs you have. 

We recommend:

-12 to 15 foot long rolls will be enough to grip 4-5 standard width stairs.

For a standard staircase going up one floor (8 feet) there are 14 stairs. You would need 3-4 rolls of Vicious Anti-Slip Stair Tread to apply tape across the top of every stair.
