Congratulations to team rider Patrick Switzer on his 1st place finish despite having his qualifying time dropped in the earlier part of the event! Patrick has once again continued to make his presence known in the European Circuit having back to back podium finishes (placing 3rd in Almatrieb). This year has been Switzer’s most dominating season as he fires through top ranks and sits comfortably on top. Much love P-Swiss.

Big ups to one of the hottest ladies on the block, team rider Dasha Korienko! She’s no stranger to being the top dog in the European scene and has once again has come back to prove her worth placing a nifty 2nd place at Almatrieb. She battled against fellow Canadian Brianne Davies vying for top position as they both secured top position. Congratulations!

It was an exciting yet stressful time over at Vicious trying to pick who was going to win this month’s contest! Fortunately, May’s champ, Lui Bastamante helped finalize the podium for June.

First off – this piece of work is unreal! This dude is serious. What makes this piece so much more intriguing is that, he used Vicious Grip for this! Anyone have an idea on how difficult this piece could have been? What a champ…

“Hey! My name is Robert DeFreitas and my submission to your June Grip Challenge is named “Thuderbird” and is based off of west coast Canadian native art. Yes… this IS made from Vicious Grip Tape!!!!”

2. Josh McCormick
Josh submitted this fine-as-hell piece of board art to us, using a combination of stains (on his home made board) and intricate grip cuts. Props on the consistency homie!

3. Jesse Atencio
Jessie was a last minute submission but ain’t no slouch with this piece of grip art! First off – MORTAL KOMBAT IS THE ****. Excuse my language, but if there if there’s anyway to get a good start on grip art, Mortal Kombat would be it. Either that, or Starwars, as seen in previous entries.

Alright it’s that time again, get your creative juices on, this baby is a FREE-FOR-ALL. Pull out your biggest guns, lets see you guys top the champs! Use a combination of stencils, paints, cuts or whatever you can come up with! We look forward to seeing your entries!

Simply rad. Great combination of an orange painted base and intricate cuts. Champ status.

2nd – Rob – Clean Precision Work

Nice use of a light blue base with precision lines and circles. Not easy to perfect like this.

3rd – Mike S. – Darth Vader and Storm Trooper

Classic. Nice combo with the red.

Get creative starting this month all the way to December for Vicious Grip’s monthly grip contest. Have the chance to win gnarly grip, shirts and a chance to set a monthly challenge!
